The fuel injection system service cleans the complete fuel system, including injectors, and safely removes carbon deposits. The service usually takes about one hour.
The steps involved in a fuel injector system service include: Fuel pump operating pressure and volume check, Testing pressure regulator for operation and leakage, Flushing of entire fuel rail and upper fuel injector screens to include pressure regulator, Fuel injectors cleaning, Decarbon of engine assembly. Throttle plate and idle air control (IAC) passages cleaning, Minimum air flow rate check and adjustment if required. Relearn onboard computer. All steps may be performed using a fuel injector service unit.
The service leaves the vehicle with a clean, more efficient engine, providing: increased power, better fuel economy, smoother running, better throttle response, improved fuel consumption, improved performance and drive ability, reduced exhaust emissions.
Consult a qualified mechanic before using the service.
